Discipleship Centre is established in 1974 serving for the poorest children in the slum areas of Madanpur Khadar – Delhi and Kalyanpuri – East Delhi. The present proposal is a holistic development of 160 poorer children in both places for 2 years period to maintain the sustainability.

Discipleship Centre (DC) was established in the year 1974. Since then the organization is working towards sustainable development of marginalized communities at a national level.
Activities involved :
Over the past DC has responded to most of the disasters / calamities that have occurred in the country through the provision of immediate relief thus providing prompt help to the afflicted. The response has always been one of building hope, standing with the afflicted and the marginalized in their hour of acute grief and pain. Based on the long standing needs of a community affected by a disaster the blurred line of relief is broken down and together with the people DC facilitates in rebuilding the lost world of the poor through need based interventions. DC’s target has always been the most underprivileged and needy with special focus on the needs of women, children and the disabled. Water sanitation is core area where DC intervenes.
Working Activities:
DC’s integrated community programs strive for sustainable development to empower the poor and the vulnerable through community participation and resource mobilization.
Discipleship Centre (DC) is working for the children with love and serving the children. DC takes a great privilege in serving the poor children who are in tire need. Children are the future of the world, who deserves to have proper love, care, opportunities and right to education to achieve their future goals. Discipleship Centre is working with the children like hurt, hungry and hopeless. DC specially working in the areas of Physical, Social, Cognitive and nurturing the children towards the bright future.
