MY APPEAL

I'm Pranjal Ajay Kumar, 10th class student, born and brought up in a joint family. I want to make a new beginning in my life journey with the support from all of you. Seeing my grandparents and other elderly people struggle with eye problems, especially cataract, I become even more concerned about eye care. Hence, I decided to give my best possible support to one of the largest operational NGOs based in Delhi – Deepalaya – which works with the vision of making India cataract free through its Vision Centers in Delhi and Haryana.

Any contribution, be it small or big, will motivate me to keep doing good work for the society in any way.

Deepalaya

Deepalaya (www.deepalaya.org), a 44 year old NGO is recognised as the largest operational NGO that has established projects across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana. Over the years, our focus has expanded from providing Education to not-so-privileged children to extending Skill-development support to vulnerable youth and women & providing access to Eye-care facilities to the unreached.
We strive to ensure that the marginalised sections of society become Self-Reliant through our projects in the areas of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/Remedial), Digital Learning, Community Health, Gender Equity and Women Empowerment, Institutional care, Vocational Training and Differently Abled.
Ensuring education for social inclusion and sensitisation is the approach through which empowerment, capacity building and holistic transformation is being attempted.
We are committed to identify and work along with the socio-economically deprived and mentally challenged children so that they become Educated, Skilled and Aware.

ABOUT ME

Pranjal Ajay Kumar, a class X student of a CBSE school in New Delhi would like to start his philanthropy journey here today. A teenager, born and brought up in a joint family carries with him the moral values intact. Seeing his grandparents and other elderly relatives struggling with eyesight problem, especially Cataract, makes him even more concerned about eye care. Therefore, he decided to contribute his best possible support to this Delhi based, one of the largest operational NGOs - DEEPALAYA - that works with a vision to make India Cataract free through its VISION CENTRES in Delhi and Haryana.

Any contribution, however small or big would motivate him to keep doing the good for the society in whatever manner he can.
